4 year old child beheaded and suspect arrested

A four-year-old child was killed and her body was mutilated in Arouca, trinidad and tobago on Monday night.

The deceased has been identified as Amarah Lallitte.

According to multiple information, after 9pm on Monday, a woman of Fifth Street, Arouca, went to a police station to make a report of abuse.

She told police that she had been beaten by a man she knew and that the suspect had taken her child hostage.

Her clothes were ripped and she had marks of violence, police responded and made a horrific discovery at the home

Dead is 28-year-old Fabian Needham

Allegedly Needham got into an argument with a group of men said to be from the neighbouring community of Captureland. It is alleged that Needham flung a glass bottle at them before running into the crowd.

He chased by the group. One of the men pulled a handgun and opened fire hitting him in the upper body. The suspects fled the scene.

The police retrieved seven spent casings from the crime scene.
