Munga honorable freed of murder charge

After nine years, entertainer Munga Honorable and his co-accused, Sherdian Gordon, have been freed of murder charges. The charges were dropped in the Supreme Court. Munga in 2017 and Sherdian Gordon were charged with the murder of Cleveland Smith.Reports are that Smith was accosted by a group of men, one armed with a gun, at a party in Ackee Walk, St Andrew. An altercation ensued, and he was shot. He was pronounced dead at hospital.It took nine years for the case to go to trial. on Monday with the prosecution arguing that Munga and Gordon attacked and shot Smith during a dispute.But on Friday, the case was thrown out due to many inconsistencies in the testimony of a sole eyewitness.
